Mesmer armor = two shades of green. Can I dye them to be of the same color?
Here's my problem:
Most mesmer armor is one shade of green. Enchanter's armor is a lighter shade of green than the rest. How can I get them to be of the same color? I tried dying them different colors and the result is the Enchanter pieces end up being a lighter shade of the dyed color. I tried using dye remover but the dark green of mesmer armor and light green of enchanter armor are the default colors! Is there anyway I can "equalize" these two shades of green without resorting to the dreaded black dye? Thanks. |

I doubt it... you'll have to darken the dye. That's the only way I can think of, you've tried everything else... sorry buddy. =/
I wish that armors were standardized colors... |

Hmm. I don't know if this will help, but here's a little color theory that might be of aid...
Blue + Yellow = Green You could try using a blue to deepen it, that might work so long as the green in question is lighter than you are wanting. You could try using a yellow to lighten it, which should work so long as the green in question is darker than you are wanting. The problem is, there's no means of changing luminosity without using either black or silver. (Silver to make lighter, Black to make darker) Last edited by Cindare Sunstriker; Jun 06, 2005 at 03:20 AM // 03:20.. Reason: Added a thought. |

Blue + Yellow do not make Green in this game. They're not using Primary Colors of Color, they're using Primary Colors of Light where Blue (Cyan), Red (Magenta), and Green are the primary colors.
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ht=color+chart Scroll down in this thread and there`s a color chart that might help. If you decide you want to download the color bucket mixing program, MAKE SURE YOU ONLY GET IT FROM GWONLINE, there is a version out with a keylogger in it.
